History

In 1980, the year of the last large recession prior to the recession of 2008, Joel Vath the CEO of CCM Inc. was laid off from the concrete contractor he had been working with for several years. After countless job applications being filed and a family of 3 to provide for, Joel realized that there was only one option left. In the year of 1981 he purchased used equipment and started his own concrete construction company, which is now known as Coast Concrete & Masonry Inc. With his entrepreneurial spirit and the support of his family and friends, CCM succeeded beyond what he had ever anticipated. CCM is now recognized as a premier top-notch concrete contractor in Southern California with a reputation that is unprecedented. As the business grew so did Joel's family and nearly every member of the family has worked for CCM at some point in time. His wife and son are currently employed by CCM and this is representative of the kind of family run business that CCM is. Joel's commitment to excellence along with his devotion to teamwork is what ultimately led CCM Inc. to be so successful. To this day these aspects are still at the core of CCM and what allow us to perform beyond all expectations.

With over 30 years of experience in all aspects of concrete construction we have established a reputation for excellence in delivering quality and attention to detail that has made CCM a premier concrete construction contractor in our industry. With experience in all phases of construction, we are able to coordinate with other trades to accelerate timelines and save costs, while still being able to provide the quality to each project that surpasses all expectations. Good communication with clients is paramount to our continued success. Our full-time Safety Supervisor and staff ensure that all of CCM's projects meet OSHA regulations and that all work is performed in a safe manner, from lay out through completion. From large high-end custom home foundations, to commercial foundations, to small foundation add-ons or structural masonry, you can rely on CCM to lay a solid foundation for your project.
